'Be Safe Be Seen' is a high profile community campaign to keep local children safe on the roads. Over 900 are killed or injured each year in the UK. The figures rise during the dark winter months.
'Be Safe Be Seen' aims to reduce accidents by providing school children with free reflective stickers thus giving greater visibility when walking to and from school. Children love stickers and plaster them across their bikes, bags and coats. Parents are given some peace of mind that their kids are safe.
'Be Safe Be Seen' is dominating The Beach radio station for an 8 week period. VC Cooke are the sole sponsor of this project by funding 20,000 reflective stickers which are to be distributed via listener requests and visits to local schools and clubs.
