V C Cooke has been shortlisted for the Eastern Daily Press, Business of the Year "Community Impact" Award.
"The three finalists in the Community Impact category are all leading examples of how firms and their employees can make a positive difference to local life.
One finalist is the East anglian arm of a publicly quoted construction firm. Another is a waste management firm which is looking to make a sustained contribution to community life. The third ploughs the money it makes into services to support the young people of Norfolk"
